Police Investigation Launched After Woman's Body Found In Sydney's West

A crime scene has been established in Sydney's west following the discovery of a woman's body.

According to NSW Police, at approximately 10.45am today, officers from Penrith Local Area Command attended a home at South Penrith on Chesterfield Road.

The body of a woman in her 60s was located inside.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted, and her death is being treated as suspicious.

Strike Force Tillock, comprising Penrith officers and Homicide Squad detectives, has been established to investigate the woman's death.

Police are also trying to locate the woman's vehicle, which is described as a red 2009 Subaru Impreza, registration BHX 20A.
