Police Release Images Following Rooty Hill Robbery

Police investigating a robbery in Sydney’s west have released images of people who may be able to assist with inquiries.

About 1.45am on Friday 23 June 2017, a 21-year-old man was at Rooty Hill Railway Station when he was approached by a group of males who grabbed him and began punching and kicking him, demanding money.

The men made the victim walk with them and said they were taking him to a bank to withdraw money, however after a short distance he was allowed to leave.

The man reported the incident to officers from Police Transport Command who commenced an investigation.

The man received an injury to his right hand and scratches to his back as a result of the incident.

Investigators have released images of the males who may be able to assist with inquiries.
