It's been a horrific morning on Sydney roads today, with three pedestrians struck by cars in less than an hour.
The incidents occurred at three different locations in Sydney, all within 45 minutes of each other.
At 8.15am, a five-year-old boy was hit by a car in Bankstown on Rickard Road.
He has been treated for a head injury and lower limb fractures.
He is currently at Westmead Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 30-year-old woman has also been taken to Westmead Hospital with abdominal injuries.
She is in a stable condition.
At 8.40am, a woman in her 50s was hit by a truck on York Street in Sydney.
The woman is understood to have sustained minor injuries and has been transported to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.
Shortly after 9am, an eight-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle on Broughton Road, Artarmon.
He sustained abrasions to his legs and was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital.
NSW Ambulance has issued a reminder to motorists to take care following these serious accidents.
