A 78-year-old woman has been hospitalised following an attack by three pet dingoes in south-west Sydney.
According to NSW Police, the incident happened just after 5pm on Monday at a property in Greendale.
The woman sustained severe puncture injuries to her arms, legs and back.
It is understood that she was keeping the three dingoes as pets.
The incident occurred when the woman tried to save her pet pug from an attack by the dingoes when they turned on her.
The pug sustained fatal injuries during the attack.
Paramedics, police and council rangers attended the scene, with the woman being treated in Liverpool Hospital.
