Traffic conditions have returned to normal after a fatal crash on the M4 this morning.
A young man has died after a car hit a barrier at approximately 2.10am.
The incident happened as the car was travelling on the M4 off-ramp near the M7 Wallgrove Road exit, Eastern Creek.
The vehicle collided with the barrier and rolled.
A male passenger died at the scene.
The 22-year-old driver and two other passengers were taken to Westmead Hospital and are being treated for non-threatening injuries.
The accident caused major delays on the roads, with Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit attending the scene.
Motorists in the area are advised to allow extra travel time.
