Flights to and from The Border with airline JETGO have been suspended as the company enters administration. Since launching on The Border almost two years ago, the network has serviced over 30,000 passengers to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Announced via their Facebook page today, the airline has grounded flights across its entire regional network.
Albury City Council have released a statement, saying:
"While we understand the uncertainty will be distressing to some passengers, especially those who have booked flights on the airline, Council will do all it can to attract and retain valued air services to our community."
Many customers have been left questioning what will become of booked tickets with JETGO simply stating more information will be available at their website 'soon'.
