The Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre’s wellness facility received a cash injection today of $28,000 from the Rotary Club of Bellbridge-Lake Hume and the Rotary Club of Albury Foundation.
 
The Rotary Club of Bellbridge-Lake Hume kicking in $18,000 following the Lake Hume Cycle Challenge in February. Over the past 6 years the cycle event has generated $103,000 for the centre.
 
Another $10,000 was presented by the Rotary Club of Albury Foundation as part of its annual grants program.  The money will help to establish a library and cancer information hub within the Wellness Centre.
 
It will include iPads and laptops to give patients access to website material, aimed at improving access to information for patients and visitors, while also promoting local cancer services.
