Flight services from Albury to be expanded?

Announcement tomorrow

Article heading image for Flight services from Albury to be expanded?

Last year airline JETGo arrived on The Border offering a direct jet service between Albury and Brisbane.

Earlier this month the airline announced they would commence another service, this time direct to the Gold Coast.

JETGo managing director, Paul Bredereck, is expected in Albury tomorrow to talk about the Gold Coast service which commences late June.

He will also: “make an announcement about other flights to and from Albury Airport,” which has us wondering if this marks more additional flights to the current schedules or if more destinations could soon be on offer.  JETGo currently offers services from airports including Townsville, Rockhampton, Tamworth, Dubbo and Melbourne's Essendon Airport.

Where would you like to be able to fly direct from The Border? Let us know at our Facebook page.
