Groth’s Australian Open campaign begins

Sam Groth will begin his battle in the Australian Open men's qualifying singles today, stepping up to his first hurdle with Belgian Steve Darcis.

The Border tennis star having a fairly strong start to the year, scoring a round win at the Brisbane International, and getting through to the Canberra Challenger’s quarter-finals.

The Melbourne match kicks off at 5:30pm.
