A 56-year-old man will face the Albury Local Court next month, after allegedly threatening police and their families.

He's accused of launching into a tirade against Albury Local Area Command staff late on Monday night, hitting out at one police officer and injuring 2 others when they attempted to calm the situation.

The man's up against 11 offences including assault police, resisting arrest, intimidation and offensive language.
