Use Driver Reviver sites this weekend

Take a Break & Stay Awake this Easter

Victoria State Emergency Service (SES) Volunteers and the Lions Club will conduct Driver Reviver sites on the Hume Freeway and Goulburn Valley Highway over the Easter weekend to help motorists reach their destinations safely.

Fatigue is one of the big killers on Victorian roads and Driver Reviver sites offer a place for motorists and passengers to take a break and enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee and some biscuits.

The Driver Reviver campaign has been operating for 26 years with one objective: to reduce road collisions by alleviating driver fatigue.

SES and Lions volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year towards providing Driver Reviver as a way to reduce driver fatigue and resulting car crashes.

The simple message is “Stop, revive and arrive alive”.
