UBER IS COMING TO REGIONAL AUSTRALIA right in time for the busy holiday season... But NOT in Albury/Wodonga!

If this is you right now...

You may have been living under a rock, but allow us to explain!

Uber is an app that allows users to hire an on-demand private driver. It's basically a safe, inexpensive taxi service.

And you get to have lots of great awkward small talk!

From December this year, the Uber app will be launched in 15 cities across regional Australia.

Over 3.8 million Aussies already use the app regularly, and now another 1 million people in regional cities (but not The Border) will be #blessed with access to affordable rides at just the touch of a button!

It also gives locals the chance to earn a few extra bucks on their own schedule by signing up as a driver.

*DING* Your Uber has arrived! Where?

In Victoria, the app will now be available in Horsham, Shepparton, the Surf Coast, and Warrnambool.

Queensland residents of Bundaberg, Gladstone, Hervey Bay, Mackay and Rockhampton can also look forward to the app's launch.

And in NSW you'll be able to order an Uber in Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Orange, Port Macquarie, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.

We need to know why Albury/Wodonga didn't make this list!
