Greg Hunt has been confirmed as the replacement for former Health and Sport Minister Sussan Ley today.

Mr Hunt will take over the Farrer MP's old portfolios, after Ms Ley resigned from the job amid pressure over a travel expenses scandal on Friday.

Ms Ley’s Ageing responsibilities have been passed on to her former deputy, Ken Wyatt.

The new Turnbull Government Ministry will be sworn in at Government House in Canberra on Tuesday with minimal changes overall.

New South Wales Senator Arthur Sinodinos - who acted in Ms Ley's place until today - will pick up Mr Hunt's Industry, Innovation and Science portfolio.
