King of the North, Johnathan Thurston has revealed on the NRL Footy Show that he struggled with knock backs from NRL clubs before his career took off.
JT admitted that it was never easy opening those letters that would state the club no longer wanted to discuss opportunities with him.

The soon to be father of 4 says he encourages other aspiring players to not give up either, to keep chasing that dream.
