The countdown is on to one of Ingham's biggest annual festivals.
Next month locals and visitors from across the North will embark on Rotary Park for the 4TO FM Ingham Rotary Maraka Festival.
The festivals runs across October 14th-28th, and will include a whole variety of activities for all ages.
Saturday 14 October - Homebush Steamtrain Rides (the youngsters will love this!)
Sunday 15 October - Try-Athlon (wanna test your fitness? This is for you!)
Saturday 21 October - Gala Night (it's time to dress up!)
Sunday 22 October - Afternoon Tea (we'll have scones thanks)
Saturday 28 October - Pet Parade, Fence Painting, Street Parade & Mardi Gras (don't miss this!!)
The Street Parade at the 4TO FM Ingham Rotary Maraka Festival is a must see!
Local schools, businesses, and community groups will create outstanding floats for their chance to win prizes.
You can even give a wave to the Maraka Princesses and Queens who will be sprinkled throughout the street parade!
The Princess and Queen winners will be crowned on stage during the Mardi Gras.

In 2019 Ingham will be celebrating 60 years of Maraka!
It was organized after the combined service clubs of Ingham – Ingham Rotary, Herbert River Rotary, Ingham Lions, Lower Herbert Lions, Ingham Apex, Ingham Rotaract, & Jaycees – formed a committee with the intention of holding a town festival to raise funds for non-for-profit organizations within the Ingham area.
Tune into 102.3 4TO FM on October 28 to hear all the fun with Pricey!
