North Queensland communities have dug deep for Burdekin teenager Keely Johnson to help her through her cancer journey.
The former Holy Spirit student has had 2 brain surgeries already this year to determine what will be next for her.
Loved ones of the 19-year-old created a GoFundMe page last month and the support has been overwhelming, with over $36,000 of the $50,000 goal already raised.
The results are in and Keely has a malignant Brain Tumour.
Keely's childhood cancer charity 'The Golden Octopus' shared on Facebook that they are waiting on a plan for treatment, but a daily high dose radium will be the first step.
Due to Keely being deficient of all her hormones, it makes any treatment life threatening to her.
The country singer has continuously shown her supporters across North Queensland that she is a fighter, and will always face this journey with a positive attitude.
We wish our dear friend Keely the very best in this next chapter.
