On Saturday April 21 a long standing chapter of Townsville's history ended.
The RSPCA Adoption Centre on Tompkins Road is no longer, but it all finished on a high.
The RSPCA shut it's doors without a single animal left in the shelter, thanks to locals opening their homes to adopting over 70 animals in April.
Many questions are being asked from Townsville residents about what they can do now, if they need RSPCA services.
The answers have been supplied and this is what the Townsville RSPCA have delivered as resolutions:
- For animal cruelty report to the RSPCA Inspectorate team online at www.rspcaqld.org.au/cruelty or by calling 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) available 24/7. www.rspcaqld.org.au/what-we-do/save-animals/inspectorate
- For sick or injured domestic animals or wildlife call 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) available 24/7.
