International Women’s Day (this Wednesday March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The best way to commemorate the day in the South West is at the International Women’s Day and Clothes Swap 2017. The event will begin at 4pm on Wednesday March 8th at the Fair Harvest Barn in Margaret River.
Some of the activities this year will be Basket Weaving, Ochre Face Painting and much more. The clothes swap will begin at 6pm. If you want to take part, bring up to 6 items of clothing to swap.
