Hundreds of young footy fans from the State’s south west are expected to line up at Hay Park, Bunbury, this morning for some tips on how to play from local AFL legend Hayden Ballantyne.
The dynamic Fremantle Dockers forward and Telstra ambassador will host a special free football clinic for local school children.
The clinic which is expected to attract more than 250 young footy fans to learn some skills and tips.
“The WA Football Commission and Telstra are aligned in our approach to provide young people in regional areas with opportunities to engage in sport and meet their sporting idols,” said Participation Manager Troy Kirkham.
“This holiday clinic will provide a unique experience for hundreds of young footy fans from the south west areas to meet a local AFL legend and have a kick.
