A Southwest man and his two young sons who were missing for nearly 24 hours over the weekend have turned up after a desperate search.

Marcos Flaxman, 38, and his children Phoenix, 7, and Zaedyn, 5, hadn't been seen since they left his mother’s home in the Bunbury suburb of Millbridge at 9.15pm on Friday night.

They were in a white 2006 LandCruiser headed for his partner’s home on Duce Street in Boyanup — a 25-minute drive — but the trio never arrived and were reported missing to police yesterday.

Police confirmed Mr Flaxman and his sons had been found safe and well after 6pm.

A police spokesman said Mr Flaxman turned up at a relative’s house in the LandCruiser, unaware of the search efforts.
