1987 was a HUGE year in music. Our fave Rock & Roll songs shared the charts with the Electro-Pop sound that defined the late 80s. Some of the most flogged songs on our airwaves turn 30 this year and we thought we'd celebrate by looking back on the Top 10 hits from the year that was - 1987!

You may think of Bon Jovi's iconic track "Livin' On A Prayer", perhaps Michael Jackson's ground-breaking hit "Bad", or maybe Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning" was the soundtrack to 1987 for you - yet none of these tracks actually made it into the End of Year Top 10 Hits!

In case you were wondering, Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me), Starship's "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" and Angry Anderson's "Sunddenly" were the next three hits in line.
