Got A Problem? Speak Up.

Congrats Steve Andrews

Today is another special anniversary, July 26th 2009 was the start of The Black Dog Rides.

This movement was initiated by Steve Andrews who at the time was living in Busselton, and after 2 people very close him took their lives, decided something needed to be done to raise awareness of suicide, depression and other mental illnesses.

Since then Steve and the Black Dog Rides have criss crossed the state and the whole country to fulfill that task.

Lives have been changed and indeed, saved, after men and women, young and old, have opened up to someone close or a doctor to say, "I have a problem"

There is no shame in it, I've been there and continue to battle the demons sometimes. I've said many times before, if you have a sore foot, see the specialist, got a bung tooth, go to the dentist, have a depression or anxiety worry, see a doctor or a shrink (my term).

We should all say a big thank you to Steve Andrews for the work he has done and the job the Black Dog Rides continues now.

Happy anniversary pal.

Cliff
