I have made a momentous decision today, I'm going to quit following news and trying to be across everything here and around the world.
Maybe for a while.
After keeping and eye on my regular news services online and of course Sky News and CNN, without which I would perish, it's all just so bloody awful today.
The Syrian attack, a huge ice stash which could have wreaked devastation on families, that moron Eric Abetz, another missile shot by North Korea which will mean even more tension in the Sth China Sea, priests being very bad boys and of course the Dockers. It's all too much.
Don't even get me started on "reality TV" and how it's numbing our brains and taking over so many people's every waking hour.
Aaaaaggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Today I am looking for a good news story. I don't care what it is. Maybe your puppy didn't poop on the floor this time, perhaps your baby took first steps or you didn't have to get up to head to the loo in the middle of the night for a change.
Just give me a good news story for once.
As to the rest of the news, I'll see if I can wean myself off it. I doubt it's totally possible, I just can't be out of touch but today is a start.
