Yesterday would have been his 38th birthday.
Overnight, a trailer was released for a movie dealing with his personal struggles the world of fame.
I Am Heath Ledger is being put together by Spike TV and Network Entertainment.
There's never-before-seen home videos of Heath during the film.
It premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival April 23, then in selected cinemas from May 3.
There's a digital and DVD release on May 23.
