Each year during the month of June, the team at Hobart’s Triple M dedicates their time and passion to Give Me 5 For Kids.
Now in its 15th year in Hobart, GM5FKs in the south of the state has raised over 2.2 million dollars for the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
Over 1.6 million of that has been in the last 4 years; a testament to the way it’s grown in our community.
The funds raised each year enable the Royal Hobart Hospital to buy life-saving and life-changing equipment for both the staff at the RHH and the families who utilise its services.
GIVE ME 5 FOR KIDS HOUSE 2017
In 2014 and 2015 the Give Me 5 For Kids family teamed up with K&D and Andrew Lyden builders to undertake the largest project in GM5FKs national history; the Give Me 5 For Kids House with Heart (and we did it twice!).
In 2017, the team at Lyden Builders and K&D are already hard at work on yet another house project, located at the beautiful Glebe Hill, just 15 minutes from town, with the proceeds once again going to the Children’s Ward at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Lead by Dave Noonan on Triple M, the house campaign is run start-to-finish on air and online on Triple M and all contributors get substantial recognition for their partnership.
We follow the progress of the house from the planning stages, to the first dirt turnover, to the brick laying, to the open homes.
The Triple M team is right behind Andrew Lyden and the team at K&D, assisting with securing further project partners and contributors to ensure the house is as successful in raising as much money as possible.
This project could not be possible without the countless Hobart businesses and individuals who donate their time, resources and services to make the Give Me 5 For Kids House a truly ‘community’ project.
Premier Will Hodgman joined Dave and Al and a group of the great team of builders and tradesmen at the launch of this year's project.
