KG has expressed his major concern for Port Adelaide after the trade period on Triple M's Dead Set Legends.

KG'S "GRAVE CONCERN":

Port Adelaide finished ninth in 2018 after an 11-4 start to the season, copping plenty of criticism for their finish to the year.

The club missed finals after loading up on trade and free agency targets such as Tom Rockliff, Jack Watts and Steven Motlop.

With a worse than expected season, and after their 2018 trade period in which they netted themselves three draft picks in the top 15 and lost Chad Wingard and Jared Polec, KG made another big call.

"Can I make a statement here and put my goolies on the line?" he said on Saturday.

"I cannot see Port Adelaide improving come 2019."

KG said the ageing talls, including the likes of Justin Westhoff, PAddy Ryder and Charlie Dixon, as well as a lack of speed through the midfield was a worry.

"No Polec, no Wingard. Both gone. Because they're gone, (there's a) lack of speed through the midfield," he explained.

"Where are Port Adelaide going to improve? You tell me."
