John Hastings has told a brilliant story about the one international batsmen who became his bunny, both while playing international cricket and during their time as teammates in the Indian Premier League.
"It was a strange one!" he told Triple M's Dead Set Legends.
"I got him out about five or six times in one-day international cricket and once playing for Victoria against Chennai in the Champions League over in South Africa."
The dominance from Hastings continued into the IPL, where they became Chennai teammates and faced each other in the nets.
"I thought 'stuff this'..slower ball bouncers into the wicket was the go. And he said 'Hasting, please can you go into the other net?' He would not let me bowl to him in the nets!"
