Match Review Officer Michael Christian has handed down his penalties from the Saturday and Sunday matches from round 3.

Essendon defender Conor McKenna has been referred directly to the tribunal for serious misconduct for his alleged bite on Dogs forward Tory Dickson.

Western Bulldog Zaine Cordy can accept a one game suspension for striking Cale Hooker, in the only suspension directly handed down.

Fremantle ruck Aaron Sandilands can pay a $2000 fine for roufh conduct on Gold Coast's Jarryd Lyons, Port’s Tom Jonas can accept $1500 for misconduct against Brisbane’s Josh Walker, Melbourne’s Sam Frost can accept $2000 for rough conduct on North’s Jed Anderson, Scott Thompson can accept $2000 for striking Jesse Hogan and Tiger Nick Vlastuin can cop $2000 for striking Luke Breust.

Mitch Crowden and Bailey Banfield can accept $2000 and $1000 fines respectively for offences against Gold Coast’s Aaron Hall, while Dylan Grimes and Cyril Rioli have both copped $1000 for engaging in a melee for one another.

GWS’s Matt de Boer was cleared for a match day report on Lewis Melican, with Christian saying that there was insufficient high contact made for a charge to be laid.

The tribunal will sit tomorrow to hear McKenna’s case.
