Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury says the Pies didn’t feel comfortable until late in the fourth quarter in their spanking of Richmond last night.

Pendles spoke to Dead Set Legends with Jay Clark and Joey Montagna this morning and said that everything went more or less perfectly up to half time.

“I felt like we were in a really good position until half time,” Pendles said.

“We were able to score from forward half stoppages early in the game and just to get that scoreboard pressure on in a prelim is so important.

“But when you’re playing against a side as good as Richmond you sort of never feel comfortable… They did make a charge late in that fourth quarter, and for our guys to respond the way we did and get a couple of goals and put another gap in the game it was really pleasing.”

Pendles also spoke about the lead up to grand final day, Steele Sidebottom’s incredible form, and gave an update on his chompers.
