Ewan Grant interviewed Glenn Toogood Regional Manager SE Beach Energy to talk all things gas drilling in SA.
Beach Energy is a oil and gas, exploration and production company and is a key supplier to the Australian east coast gas market.
"The success of the onshore basin really came to fruition in the late 1980s," Glenn said.
"Conventional gas drilling and looking for targets is much more attractive and is much more cost-effective.
"We believe this particular region has a great source of natural gas that we can use, not only for the local region but potentially one day for other parts of Australia."
