Adelaide Crows coach Don Pyke joined the Rush Hour on Triple M Adelaide this afternoon and confirmed two Crows will make their AFL debut on Friday night.
Mature age SANFL recruit Tom Doedee will make his debut alongside young gun Darcy Fogarty against Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
The two will try and fill the injury void at the Crows with Taylor Walker ruling himself out of Round 1 this morning, alongside Riley Knight and Brad Crouch, who could miss up to a month with a groin injury.
"Darcy will play, I'm happy to let you know that," Pyke told Jars & Louie.
"I was able to deliver him the news this afternoon.
"It's always exciting when you get to tell a young man that he's going to play his first game.
"And we've got Tom Doedee who'll make his debut as well."
