Adelaide Crows coach Don Pyke says injured half-back Brodie Smith may be a chance to get on the park this year.
Smith ruptured his ACL in the first quarter of the qualifying final win over GWS at Adelaide Oval last year, and was initially expected to miss all of 2018.
But speaking on Triple M’s Jars and Louie at Adelaide’s season launch, Pyke said Smith is still a shout to play some footy for the Crows in 2018.

“He’s going really well, he’s back now running, he’s doing slight change of direction,” Pyke said of Smith.
“We’re really hopeful that we might get him back before the end of the season to be able to play some footy.
“So we’ll see how he tracks, there’s no real pressure on him.
“It’s gonna be down to how he progresses, how comfortable he is with the knee, how the surgeons see it on his return to play time.”
