There's no doubting that this Sunday's Showdown 43 between Adelaide and Port Adelaide is the talk of the town, and two former greats of the game have made things a little more interesting.
Former Power captain Warren Tredrea joined The Rush Hour on Triple M Adelaide this afternoon and placed a wager with legendary Crow Andrew Jarman, albeit both blocks were coerced into it by co-host Dale Lewis.
"Here's what I propose," Lewis said on Triple M.
"Treds, if the Adelaide Crows win, you are to appear on TV on Monday night with a Crows tie - wearing it for the sports bulletin.
"With the potential that one of the others that barracks for the Crows at Channel Nine puts a scarf around your neck and you give it a little shimmy for me."
Although a Power loss might impact Tredrea's look on TV during the Channel Nine newscast, the implications of a Crows loss could potentially cause a safety issue for Jars.
"The following week (if the Crows lose), you will meet the Port Adelaide faithful in Rundle Mall," Lewis told his co-host.
"You will lead the Port Adelaide march down to Adelaide Oval, across the bridge you said you'd never walk across."
It's safe to say Jars is not looking forward to next weekend if the Power win Showdown 43.
"They (the Power fans) bloody hate me!" he told the Triple M audience.
