Paul Roos joined Jars and Louie on Triple M Adelaide this afternoon and responded to allegations made by Wayne Carey last night on Talking Footy that the premiership winning coach is entertaining the idea of coaching Collingwood next season.
Carey suggested that Roos' body language was different this year when talking about the Pies and suggested that Collingwood president Eddie McGuire had "definitely spoken" to him, claims that were quickly refuted by Roos.
"We chat pre meetings (on Triple M) and sort of laugh about the Collingwood stuff," Roos told Triple M.
"The job of the media is to speculate and talk about what may or may not happen.
"When I was in the media three years ago before I took the Melbourne job; I'll just tell what's happening at any given time.
"Now if that changes, I'll tell you when it changes.
"But at this stage, as I've told you a number of times, I enjoyed my time at Sydney, it was a bit of a surprise going back to Melbourne... but there's no intentions to get backing coaching at this stage."
