Port Adelaide legend Warren Terdrea joined the Rush Hour on Triple M this afternoon and revealed his favourite for this season's NAB Rising Star.
“I think it’s potentially going to come from three players," Tredder's told Jars and Louie.
"(Ryan) Burton’s one, (Andrew) McGrath is another, and Port Adelaide’s Powell-Pepper."
He then revealed how well Powell-Pepper's statistic stack-up against Geelong captain Joel Selwood's Rising Star winning season.
“He (Selwood) averaged 19 touches, four tackles, three clearances, seven contested ball and he kicked a goal every three games," Tredrea said
“Powell-Pepper averages 18 disposals, which is one less (than Selwood). Four tackles, which is the same, clearances are the same, he’s got nine contested disposals a game, and he’s kicked 15 goals out of 16 games.”
They are some seriously big numbers for a first year player.
