Kennedy Molloy's got in touch with the Perth bloke who was caught driving a motorised picnic table!

LISTEN TO THE BLOKE:

Police seized and impounded the motorised picnic table being driven by a bunch of blokes in Perth the other day.

"That's un-Australian! Impounding someone's motorised picnic table," Mick Molloy laughed.

Tim, one of the blokes on the table, joined Kennedy Molloy to explain why they were doing it.

"The weather was just looking pretty good, so we decided we were going to do it," he explained.

Tim said the table can - just quietly - do upward of 70 km/h an hour.

"One of my mates from back in New Zealand was the one that designed it, because they used to use it going around the university.

"This was the original build. He's actually made another. I think he's actually got build number five and six back home!"
