UPDATE 2:05pm:

Triple M have been advised that the abandoned vehicle has now been issued with a warning notice for removal. If the vehicle has not been removed within 5 days, we have been told it will be removed.

After contacting the strata company twice to find out when the vehicle is expected to be removed, Triple M was told that "the process underway to remove it", however when asked why it has taken so long, they then claimed they don't actually manage that space.

After receiving numerous calls from Triple M listeners on Friday morning about an abandoned car, it's hoped it will be removed soon.

'Wombat' called Moffee about the smashed up Commodore that has been parked in the car park of the Coffs Harbour South Service Centre for the past few weeks.

According to a number of tenants, complaints have been made to the strata company that looks after the centre, however the eye sore still remains.

The vehicle is now missing two wheels, plus has a smashed windscreen and bonnet.

It is understood, as the vehicle is not registered, that Coffs Harbour City Council are able to put a warning notice on the vehicle and have it removed.

Triple M have contacted the strata company involved to find out when the vehicle is expected to be removed.
