Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, spoke with Moffee on Triple M this morning about Coffs Harbour being confirmed to remain the home of the National Touch League until at least 2022.

The latest announcement continues to firmly place the Coffs Coast as a leader when it comes to sports events in regional NSW.

Mr Fraser also mentioned a project he is pushing, and hoping to have the support of the Coffs Harbour City Council for a Regional Athletics Centre at Park Beach.

"There's one project out there at the moment I am trying to push, I'd love the support of Council. That's a Regional Athletics Centre down on York Street".

He said he can get the money for that project, around $3 million.

"Destination NSW, Sport NSW and the NSW Government is intent on making sure that Coffs Harbour retains the reputation as being a regional sporting capital," he said.
