Good afternoon,

On December 5th last year, I had an operation to remove a benign golf ball size tumour from my abdomen along with my spleen.

Since then I have been back to Hospital 3 times because of the infection, the last visit was 16 days, after which I came home last Wednesday.

I am making a good recovery on oral antibiotics and look forward to playing at Mt Gambier and The St Kilda Festival next weekend.

My sincere thanks to my Band members and tech crew who have been very patient and understanding, along with all the phone calls, text messages, flowers and emails I received from fellow musicians and music industry people.

Also thanks to the many get well wishes that I received from supporters on Facebook and by hand written cards.

My thanks to all the nursing staff, radiologists, orderlies, food suppliers and Doctors at Cabrini Hospital Malvern who made me feel well.

Last but not least….. Thanks to James Reyne for his friendship, support and wisdom… I think he now likes "The Horses”

Sincere thanks .…. Daryl x
