Port Adelaide midfielder Brad Ebert says the Power have identified and address the teams on field inconsistencies ahead of their massive match against the Crows this weekend.

This Saturday's Showdown has been the talk of the town for weeks, and chatting to Roo and Ditts on Triple M this morning, Ebert declared the Power were up to the challenge after a few inconsistent performances from Port Adelaide.

The Power currently sit outside the top eight after some topsy turvy form, but Ebert said the club has identified and addressed some inconsistencies in the team's performances that were highlighted in their loss last weekend to West Coast.

"There's been a few inconsistencies with our performances and we're disappointed with that," Ebert told Triple M.

"On the weekend we're looking at the glaringly obvious contested ball numbers.

"In terms of clearances I think we're still sitting quite high in terms of opposition.

"But the actual issue of contested ball is an area of concern."

The Power and Crows clash in the season's first Showdown this Saturday at Adelaide Oval.
