Ditts and Gill Get Into A Fiery Argument Over AFL Rule Changes

This morning AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan joined Roo & Ditts for Breakfast.

Roo started by saying, "Ditts, you're being far too nice to Gill, you always whinge about umpires... Out of bounds, in the back, holding the ball..."

Gill: "Deliberate out of bounds is what I think you're referring to? I haven't heard any of the shrill Ricciuto squealing for about 6 weeks..."

Ditts responded, "We're sick of whinging about it... honestly it's now laughable Gil and that's the truth."

Gill hit back, "I don't reckon that's right, if you had have said that to me in Round 6, you might have had a case... I think they've worked it out. 

There's some errors, but I think you also need to talk about the generally consensus view that footy has been fabulous this year..."

Ditts fought back, "But Gil the problem is, one minute you can go to the boundary and the next 30 later seconds you can't. This is the problem. Why do it?"

Gill said, "There will be mistakes... the umpires will make mistakes. But I don't think you can quote me on this in the last month..."

Ditts responded, "It's not Chris Dittmar saying this, it's every single person I speak to. So please, this is not a personal attack."

The CEO replied with, "do you think I don't get much feedback?"

"I reckon you’re full of rubbish… it’s a small minded approach."

Ditts fired back: "Do you listen to ABC? This is Triple M here... this actually modern, and we're up with the modern standards of the game..."
