Anthony Mundine has sent a stern warning to opponent Jeff Horn ahead of their bout on Friday night, vowing to knock him out in the ninth round.

Mundine will return to the ring to take on Horn, and despite his underdog status, Mundine is not lacking any confidence at all.

"To be honest, I feel like I'm in the prime of my life," he told Triple M Adelaide's Roo and Ditts.

"You're going to see a different beast on Friday night."

Roo asked him what round he'd knock Horn out.

"Round nine," he replied. "Round nine is divine."
