SANFL CEO Jake Parkinson spoke for the first time since the 19-man controversy engulfed the league over the weekend.

North Adelaide completed a comeback win over Woodville-West Torrens on Sunday, turning a 47-point deficit into a five point win. But after the match, it was revealed that North Adelaide had an extra, 19th man on the field for five minutes during that last quarter.

Following a judiciary hearing, North Adelaide were fined $10,000 and docked four premiership points for next season, but were still allowed to play in this weekend's SANFL Grand Final against Norwood.

Speaking for the first time since the incident, SANFL CEO Jake Parkinson explained that judiciary decision exclusively to Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide.
