Michael Gudinski, the man behind brining The Killers to Australia, may have let slip that Adelaide can expect more world famous musicians in the near future.

Gudinski spoke to Triple M's own Roo & Ditts this morning about bringing The Killers to the City of Churches, lamenting the fact that South Aussies often have to travel interstate to see their favourite artists live.

“There’s too many shows that have missed Adelaide,” Gudinski said.

But the Frontier Touring and Australian music legend hinted that things might be changing in Adelaide, with The Killers potentially the first of a few huge bands to bring their tour the city.

“The Adelaide Oval has changed your city,” Gudinski said, “It’s a fantastic thing.”

“And guess what…there’s a couple of secret shows coming.”

That's where his loose lips finished though, with Gudinski not shedding light on any potential bands headed our way.

Tickets for The Killers May 8 gig at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre go on sale 9am next Monday, 27 November.
