Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker has declared their season isn't over following a disappointing loss to Fremantle.
Speaking to Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide this morning, Tex said the Crows were a victim of not seizing their opportunity in a few games this season, which has seen them slump to a 6-6 record and sitting outside the Top 8.
"We've had chances in a few games," Tex said on Triple M Adelaide this morning.
"Essendon, Collingwood and Melbourne beat us quite convincingly.
"But we've had opportunities in those other games and they go the other way.
"We've got some areas we need to improve on. We need to consistently play some strong contested footy, which we're not doing at the moment.
"And just our skill fundamentals aren't good enough. They're scoring off our turnovers too often and we're letting too many easy goals through."
The Crows travel to take on Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday night before their bye in Round 14.
