The Adelaide Test is only a day away and the Barmy Army, English cricket's travelling mob of fans, are in disarray.

A large part of the Barmy Army's presence is their strong repertoire of songs, supported by their famous trumpeter, but unfortunately for them, the Army's trumpeter has had to rush back home for the birth of his child.

Up steps Triple M Adelaide's Roo & Ditts to the rescue.

The Barmy Army's Dave and Chris joined the show this morning and Roo and Ditts put the call out to Adelaide to fill the vacant spot of the Army's musician.

Thankfully for the Barmy Army, they found a ripper replacement in Dave from Port Elliot, saxophonist in popular Adelaide band, The Idol Saints.
