Roo Puts All The Rumours About The Crows Pre-Season Camp To Rest

Conflicting reports of the now notorious Adelaide Crows pre-season camp continue to leak into the media.

After Fox Footy first reported that some Adelaide players were still feeling the mental affects from the gruelling came, run by Collective Mind, Crows Captain Taylor Walker moved to rubbish those reports.

Walker and Crows teammate Rory Sloane have both suggested the camp was one of the best they've been on, and helped exponentially on the 'mindfulness' aspect of an AFL footballers life.

Speaking on his breakfast show on Triple M Adelaide this morning, Crows board member and Brownlow Medallist Mark Riccuito stated that no player had made a formal complaint about the camp.

"There's players who didn't like what happened on the camp," Roo admitted.

"Not on player has had an issue with the doctor.

"And there's not one payer who's gone to the AFL Players Association and had an issue with it.

"But there's definitely some players that didn't like what happened at the camp."

A text message from Crows leader Tex Walker to the playing group has also made its way into the media, in which he laments the fact that information has been leaked to the public - a text message that he has come under scrutiny for.

Roo didn't buy into that, believing the text was "exactly what a captain should do".

"That is good leadership. That is strong leadership." Roo said.

"It is not aggressive; it's what you have to do as a leader."

The Crows face Richmond tonight in a Grand Final replay at Adelaide Oval. Catch every minute of it on Triple M.
