Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker joined the Triple M Adelaide breakfast team this morning and suggested he was still unhappy with the barbs being thrown his way from former Port Adelaide midfielder Kane Cornes.

The Crows enjoyed a triumphant underdog victory against the Swans at the SCG on Friday night, with Tex kicking a bag of four goals in a strong key forward display.

His game copped some plaudits, mainly from former North Melbourne and Adelaide superstar Wayne Carey, comments that Kane Cornes has publicly suggested Carey was forced to say by someone from within the Adelaide Football Club.

Cornes has been vocal with his criticism of Walker, suggesting that he had an inability to stand up like a captain should when his side needed him the most.

Speaking to Ditts and stand-in breakfast host Dave Gleeson on Triple M Adelaide, Tex said he was getting tired of Cornes' trying to make a headline in the media every week.

"But week in week out...

"It gets a bit long in the tooth."
