Tex Walker Explains How Teams Can Beat Richmond

Adelaide skipper Tex Walker thinks Richmond are definitely beatable this finals series, and thinks there's a couple of ways teams can knock them off.

TEX EXPLAINS:

Walker, whose Crows beat the Tigers way back in round two, does have experience in beating the best team in the competition.

He joined Triple M's Roo and Ditts on Wednesday morning and was asked what it takes to do it.

He pointed out two things - time in possession and winning the aerial battles.

“When we beat them here, we really attacked them and went straight at them,” he said.

“We controlled the air contest, and ‘JJ’ played made Rance accountable.

“That’s the way, I think, you can beat Richmond. You’ve just got to maintain possession, and obviously they’re a high pressure team, so if you can maintain possession, you can beat them.”

Then he went for a bold tip: Hawthorn to cause a qualifying final upset.

“I’m going to tip Hawthorn,” he said.

“Hawthorn can beat them.”
