Adelaide Crows captain Taylor Walker has stated he's a chance to return to the field next week.
Tex's preseason was hampered by a foot injury, with the key forward playing through pain early in the season before succumbing to niggling Glute and back injuries.
But speaking to Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide this morning, Tex stated he's a chance to return for the Crows match against Hawthorn at the MCG in Round 13.
"I'm not playing this week," Tex said.
"I could play, if Pykie (Don Pyke) picked me.
"But I've got to do a little bit more conditioning and I'll hopefully play next week."
If Tex chose to not rush himself back next week, the Crows have a bye in Round 14, giving him two extra weeks to recover for the Crows huge Round 15 match against West Coast.
